-- Tight Budget --

Glad that i have found a new slacking place other than StarBucks... Helps to save money and need not spend so much... I'm already on tight budget so actually a cup of coffee each day at StarBucks are draining all my money.. Haha but sad to say, i've found the new slacking place too late bcoz i'm already counting down 3 days to end of my slacking days.. Time really flies, that's what i can say..

Anyway, juz to recommend my new slacking place to pple/students that likes to study in quiet environment.. it's actually at Bugis Library Level 5 Study Lounge.. Something different from the usual library environment is that you can eat/drink there and they actually have vending machines selling drinks, snacks and sandwiches in the Study Lounge.. Besides that, they have WiFi and power plugs for you to charge your laptops.. HeeHee nice nice..

Mummy's Birthday 24/11/2008... ^_^

Celebrated Mummy bday dinner at Mouth Restaurant at Chinatown point.. Hmm the food is so-so and too salty, we kept drinking lots of water.. I should have bring her to the "Wu Zhao Pai" at east coast park instead.. She said that she likes both the food and the location of the restaurant when we bring her there the previous time. Sob.. Din think of that place when we'll choosing the bday dinner venue...

Mummy took a 1/2 day leave the following day, so i bring her to eat international buffet at "The Line, Shangri-la Hotel".. Haha i'm the one recommending the place but she's the one footing the bill... Heehee felt so guilty but i'm really on very tight budget..I'll treat her something good when i got my first pay slip next month.. Tata..

And ya, i shouldn't have bring her for international buffet next time, coz she only take food from the Chinese food counter.. Laksa, mee siam, wanton mee, fish ball soup, wanton soup, roast chicken, roast duck, roast meat, char siew.. This is what she had eaten for the buffet that day.. =)

Overall, the buffet is nice.. (My first judging criteria is of coz the dessert counter... ) The Line has a great varieties of food, all fresh ingredients and most imptly, the dessert counter is YUMMYYY...!! It has my fav choco cakesss, choco fondue dip and my lao da fav mini macarons.. Mummy also love those nonya kueh from that counter.. Too bad that we din eat much that day..=( The food that we have eaten are not worth even half of the bill.. Next time i should ask my bro along, he's a much more BIG-EAter..

Heehee where's the next buffet venue that i should go...??

I woke up super early @ 4.45 am on a Sunday morning... I've promised Geo sis to help out in this event held at Taman Jurong.. 3 hrs for S$25.. Lao da drive me to Kembangan station at 5.30am because i need to reach Lakeside station at 6.30 am.

After he let me down at a place near the station and drove off, then i realised something is not right.. It so quiet.. and the train station lights are not even switched on.. and the gate is closed.. !! Oh no, this cant be happening to me.. The first train will only be here at 6.07am.. How am i suppose to reach lakeside within 23 minutes.. ??

And i'm not going to take cabby from kembangan to lakeside, i'm already on very tight budget..But i cannot dun go, i already promised Geo sis that i'll be there.. Not nice to 'fly aeroplane' las minute.. How how..

Ah Huh.. Clever me quickly walked to a bus stop with buses moving towards the other direction (instead of the one towards bedok, changi, pasir ris direction) to see if there are buses to bring me to 'journey to the west'.. Haha.. i'm in such a good luck.. There's a bus to bring me not only to the west but to the exact location that i need to go.. Moreover, the first bus starts at 5.40am..!!

This two boys on the left are mischievous and funny.. They said that i murdered their plant and called me a murderer.. They even went to complain to their form teacher.. Boys are so naughty..

Kindergarden kids.. kids are so cute at this age.. They are so petite..

It's really a lucky day for me that day.. We are being put into groups and some are in charge of school kids, some are in charge of taman jurong residents and so on...

Hmm i got to in charge of school kids, they are some much easier to handle with the help of school teachers.. We are to give out a cap and an apron to each of them...As usual, those aunties and uncles wants more.. And i kanna scolding from an auntie..=@

She said her cap was a little spoilt on the side and wanted to change a new one, so i told her to look for her sector leaders to exchange for a new one...But she said their sector has run out of caps, hence i reply her politely that sorrie auntie but we have insufficient caps and the remaining ones are reserved for students that are not here yet.. Then she argued that she's doing a one-for-one exchange and not asking for another one, so why cant i gave it to her.. And so, i have to goes on explaining to her that the remaining caps are reserved for the students and if i'll to exchange for her, one of the students were have to wear her spoilt cap..

Her tone was really bad, so in fact i don't really want to exchange for her too ..=) She goes on reprimanding me saying " Small girl, this is not the right way that a human should do thing" (Oh no, this sentence was really bad).. "And i'm not going to join ur event the next time, and no one would want to join ur event too.. " I see no point to continue my explaination to this lady as she is those kind that will continue arguing with you, so i simply replied : "Sorrie , auntie.. i couldn't exchange for you" and went on doing my own things...

Has not been blogging for a few days and i try bloggin last night but dozed off halfway.. =) Does it imply that my blog days are numbered... ?? Haha..

Hmm anyway i've did things that are more meaningful this few days instead of my usually slacking process.. Went for Auntie Annie bday celebration at 'Xin Hai Shan' near Tiong Bahru area and the lady boss told us that MayDay will be there on the 29th Nov..

On that day, I was too busy playing and snapping pics of my little cousins, only later then i realised that i din take photos of the lead character of the day..!! =) Hence all pics being updated are only my cutie cousins.

And MOST IMPTLY, after this bday gathering session, something suddenly struck my thoughts..!! I feel that i have the potential to become a kindergarden school teacher.. !! and i'm inspired to be one when i'm old.. =)

During dinner time, Lao da told me something.. He told me that he like a Tag Heuer watch and wanted it for his Christmas gift.. Haha then he asked me to go to Hour Glass to check out the retail price..

After i checked the price, i went back to shop...

Me: Lao da, you guess how much is the watch..??

Lao da: Erm... $5,000..

Me: Haha.. for the screw..

Lao da: Then how much?? $20,000 ??

Me: Nono.. Not that much .. $11,000..

Oh no, how much i need to save to accumulate $11,000??

The watch is not out in Singapore yet, only will be out on December..

Btw, i would like to compliment Hour Glass good service.. Yesterday i'm wearing a t-shirt and a jean skirt but the staff was still being very polite (Thought that the staff will not entertainment me..) She even asked if i would like to leave my contact no so that she is able to contact me when the watch is here..

Haha and juz went to cut my fringe yesterday... and i love my new fringe !! look more kiddy and young...

But the problem is that i'm starting work soon and i should look more matured instead of kiddy..

Didnt think of that when i cut my cutie fringe..haha..

Felt so moody out of the sudden... maybe i'm too bored at home.. too much free time to think of those negative thoughts again.. "Blow...bloww...Go away..go away.."

Hmm.. well , i should feel fortunate that i'm resting at home.. Lao da is still working now and don't know will be working until what time tonight.. He muz be feeling very tired.. Poor him.. Hope that he has more time to rest and won fall sick so easily.. I think i'm going to cancel my shopping trip tmr and headed home immediately once we finished our lunch with melissa they all, so that he is able to catch some sleep.. Okay, shall tell him this tmr morning..

p.s. i'm missing him sooo... much..

Has been meeting up with friends over this weekend. On friday, i've accompanied Hua-jie to Sim Lim to buy her mini-laptop and she brought a white AUSU Eee Pc.. So kawaii..!! A very nice meet-up with her, we had been chatting over our poly school life and i realized how slack i were then.. i nearly got debarred from an accounting module and i remembered how Kmen used to describe me. " Wu Suo Shi Shi, You Shou Hao Xian, Diao Er Lang Dang. " Haha..

On Saturday, i went on a shopping spree with Sylvia.. I brought a purple long sleeved shirt and a black pant from G2000 @ $59 (Cheap cheap). And Oh no, i feel the pinch when i think of the $467 (for a blazer, shirt and skirt) that i've spent in G2 black label earlier.. Couldn't imagine how many sets of $59 i can buy with $467 ($467/$59 = 8 sets..) =( =(

And i received a Surprise & Confusing letter from Amex yesterday.. A personally invitation letter to apply for their Amex Platinum Card.. They send me the application form together with the vouchers etc.. Haha but why did they send to me ?? Funny right..?? i'm juz a poor student.. =) Think they have wasted their postage charges, printing fees, papers this time round..

Today went down to Gleneagles to see lao da sis, she'll be delivering soon.. Then at a corner, i saw this cutie baby frame.. Heehee next time when i have my own baby, i also want to have a frame done like this.. ^_^

After we left Gleneagles, we went to catch a movie (Quantum of Solace) at orchard.. Hmm not really nice.. No nice movie recently, sometimes really don't know what to watch..

After the movie, lao da bring me to Grandma's at Orchard Parade Hotel. It is famous for its curry/assam fish head and nasi lemak (the curry and fried chicken is delicious). The chendol is also delicious. He say that this restaurant selling nasi lemak is very popular in KL and they just opened a new outlet in Singapore.. i'm thinking of bringing my mummy there for her bday celebration next week.. yum yum..

Haha sad to say, i eat too much cookies on my way walking there, so i was already half full when i reached there.. i shall go there once again.. Really worth giving it a try, it's yummy.. !!

Times are bad...!! Recession... Retrenchment here and there... i graduated at a really bad timing but fortunately, i'm able to find a good job...i juz went to sign the employment letter today and going to start work on 1st dec....So i have another 3 more weeks for me to slack.. =)

Hmm but i'm now worried over a problem.. i am so used to work afternoon shift in raffles hotel, so how am i going to adjust back to morning timing... i got to wake up at 6.30 am instead of my usually timing at 10 am plus..Oh no, i think i gotta sleep early and wake up early one week before i start work.. And i'm also not used to eating breakfast... Alamak..

It's already 1.48am.. i'm going to sleep.. Tmr will be a shopping day with my lao da... Haha money have to fly first before work start... Nitezz everyone.. (^(00)^)

=Hi everyone=

i'm new in blogging... i always like to read others' blogs but never intended to start my own blog until today.. Reason ?? i'm too bored today.. Haha... I told myself that i'm going to slack 100% before i start my new job..

The four things that i have done today: Eat, Sleep, TV and Online..Have been online for quite awhile to help my lao da to download mtv and transfer it to his iTouch.. Hehe i have also transfer jacky wu +Duo mao mao+ into his iTouch bcoz i want to watch it on the train later..

And thanks to my dearest yuting for helping me with the blog..hmm i think i still need to 'disturb' her.. i'm really completely lost..

Anyway i'll be doing quite frequent updates this few weeks...
so let see how long am i able to maintain this blog.. (^(00)^)
